In Arabic, habibi means “my love,” and if you love French Moroccan cuisine, then Habibi Miami is for you.
The decor of the waterfront restaurant, bar and lounge is a throwback to post-colonial Morocco. Inspired by luxurious riads, it features vibrant designs inside a tent-like structure. Guests literally get the red carpet treatment, with a 30-foot-long red carpet leading into a dining room appointed with crystal chandeliers, velvet booths and silk draperies. There’s also an outdoor patio and bar that can accommodate 200.
Throughout the evening, belly dancers, contortionists, henna artists and drummers mingle with diners.
The menu features sharable dishes created by Executive Chef Wladimir Arévalo.
Start your meal with Mezze Royale: a platter with Hummus, Smoked Baba Ganoush, Spicy Muhammara, Crudités or Pita Bread, Pistachio Creme, Beetroot Borani, Feta Crumble and Marinated Olives.
Starters include “Cigar” Roulés Caramélisés — Crispy Phyllo Rolls, Goat Cheese, Shaved Truffle and Honey Drizzle; or Shish-Barak, Wagyu Dumplings in a White Ponzu Sauce.
Specialties like “Lollipop” Côtelettes D’Agneau — Moroccan Spiced Grilled Lamb Chops, Za’atar Spiced Carrot and Pearl Onions and Tiger Prawns with Saffron Couscous, Seafood Nage and Lemon Zest should not be missed.
The drink menu offers a Moroccan Margarita, Lebanese Limonada, Dubai Drop and Marrakesh Breeze, among others.
