Tucked inside the former Macchialina space is Fluke Martini & Crudo Bar, an elevated oyster and raw bar on Alton Road in Miami Beach.
The brainchild of Executive Chef Michael Pirolo and managing partners Jennifer Chaefsky and Jacqueline Pirolo, Fluke offers a counter-service model, allowing guests to mark their selections on petite paper menus.
“The idea was to reimagine the OG indoor space at Macchialina for the community that’s supported us for over a decade, while bringing a fun and fresh idea to the neighborhood. No reservations — just drop in for a martini and oysters or stay for a full meal,” says Jacqueline Pirolo.
The menu features standout crudos like Fluke with tomato guazzetto and baby caponata; Hokkaido Sea Scallops with red pepper, gremolata, caper emulsion and fingerling potato; and The Big Macch Burger, with fontina cheese and mushrooms.
The shareable menu offers a Seafood Platter with six oysters, two crudos (scallop and bluefin tuna) and a shrimp cocktail; or a Seafood Tower, which includes the aforementioned, plus Fritto Misto.
Drinks include a variety of martinis, cocktails, beer, wine and spirits. Finish your meal with a Fluke Sundae made with gelato, blood orange granita and cookie and hazelnut crumble.
Fluke Martini & Crudo Bar is located at 820 Alton Road in Miami Beach. For more information, visit macchialina.com/fluke.
