Rose Café, long cherished for its Mediterranean-inspired pastries, paninis and expertly brewed coffees, has entered a new chapter. The beloved Sunny Isles destination has officially transformed into Rose Café & Restaurant, unveiling a full bar and dinner service.
Philanthropist Alexandra Milton and partner Sebastian Garaviz opened Rose Café during the COVID-19 pandemic, envisioning it as a chic sanctuary where diners could find solace and nourishment.
Milton’s philosophy remains at the heart of the expansion. “We created a clean menu — no refined oils, no processed sugars — only ingredients that nourish, balance and heal,” she says.
Paccheri Pomodoro E Stracciatella
The new dinner menu brims with Mediterranean and Italian specialties. Antipasti include a trio of housemade dips with focaccia and slow-cooked octopus served with hummus and fried polenta, while a highlight of the Insalata section is the Cavolo E Avocado salad with kale, carrots, cashews, avocado, Parmigiano-Reggiano and a Caesar drizzle. Pastas shine, among them Paccheri Pomodoro E Stracciatella, Tagliatelle Al Ragu Di Manzo and Gnocchetti Ai Frutti Di Mare.
Entrées include Tagliata di Manzo, a grass-fed grilled ribeye with roasted potatoes; Scampi alla Griglia; Dover Sole a la Mugnaia for two; and Stinco di Agnello e Polenta (braised lamb shank served with creamy mashed potatoes and polenta chips).
Desserts, from housemade pastries to gelato, remain a highlight, while the new cocktail program and impressive wine list don’t disappoint. The 110-seat, Art Deco–inspired space features pastel hues, echoing the European cafés that inspired Milton.
