Something new is brewing in the Wynwood Arts District.
Welcome to Cervecería La Tropical’s high-energy, state-of-the-art onsite brewing operation, taproom, restaurant and lush 10,000-square-foot tropical garden.
The venue, which can brew 32,000 hectoliters per year, hopes to become a Miami cultural community center.
There will be more than 20 handcrafted beers in the taproom — including the brand’s flagship La Original Ámbar Lager, whose recipe is inspired by their first brew dating back to 1888.
The Latin Caribbean-influenced restaurant, under the helm of renowned Chef Cindy Hutson (from Miami’s iconic Ortanique On The Mile), will dish up delights like Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Beer Can Bread (served out of a beer can with whipped guava butter), Breadfruit Fish Tacos and Pumpkin Bisque.
Although Cervecería La Tropical was inaugurated in Havana 1888, its roots in the United States date back more than two decades.
“The rebirth of Cervecería La Tropical represents a dream come true, fulfilling a lifelong passion to resurrect the brewery with a new permanent home in Miami — a city infused with Latin and Caribbean sabor,” explains CEO Manny Portuondo.
Cervecería La Tropical is located at 42 NE 25th St., Miami. For more information, visit cervecerialatropical.com.
