Cafe Landwer Expands To Boca Raton
The Popular Mediterranean Eatery Opens Its Second South Florida Location
For over a century, Cafe Landwer has been a beloved name in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. It all began in 1919 when founder Moshe Landwer opened the first location in Germany. After the rise of the Nazi regime, the cafe relocated to Tel Aviv, quickly becoming a popular local hangout. Today, it boasts more than 80 locations across Israel, as well as in Canada, Los Angeles, Boston and Hallandale Beach in South Florida. Now, it is set to make its mark in Boca Raton with a new location on Clint Moore Road.
Known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and diverse menu, Cafe Landwer stays true to its Mediterranean roots. Diners can savor traditional dishes like shakshuka, available in six different varieties. Take the Mediterranean Shakshuka, for example: two perfectly poached eggs simmered in a rich, spiced tomato-pepper sauce with feta cheese and eggplant, ideal for scooping up with fresh pita bread.
The menu also boasts an array of sandwiches, including Fried Halloumi Sandwich and Landwer’s Schnitzel Sandwich. For those craving heartier fare, options like Whole Branzino Fillet, Chicken Thigh Skewers or Ribeye come served with a generous portion of pomegranate salad and grilled vegetables. Vegan diners can enjoy Vegan Shawarma on Focaccia, Vegan Neatballs, Vegan French Stir-Fry and Vegan Shawarma Hummus Bowl.
No visit to Cafe Landwer is complete without trying its signature dessert — Rosalach. These bite-sized rolled pastries made from pizza dough are filled with indulgent options like Nutella, Berry Crunch & Cheese or Lotus — a creamy, sweet spread made from crushed Biscoff cookies.
