H&H Bagels And ‘Hamilton’ Celebrate A Revolutionary Milestone
Two iconic New York City institutions are teaming up to mark a momentous occasion. H&H Bagels and the Tony Award-winning Broadway sensation “Hamilton,” are celebrating the musical’s 10th anniversary with two limited-time menu specials.
For those who haven’t yet experienced Lin-Manuel Miranda’s groundbreaking production, “Hamilton” tells the story of founding father Alexander Hamilton through a genre-blending score that fuses hip-hop, jazz, R&B and traditional Broadway musical styles. Since its debut, the show has left a lasting mark on American culture, politics and education.
Equally emblematic of the Big Apple, H&H Bagels has been a beloved staple since it first opened in 1972 on the Upper West Side. Known for its legendary water bagels, the brand has earned pop culture fame with appearances on shows like “Seinfeld” and “Sex and the City” — becoming as much a part of the city’s DNA as yellow cabs and Broadway lights.
Today, H&H Bagels operates seven locations across New York City, along with franchises in California and Florida — including one in Boca Raton — all while remaining true to its original recipe and artisanal methods.
From July 25 to Aug. 17, diners can enjoy two celebratory specials: Hamilton’s Revolutionary Lemon Poppyseed Cream Cheese — a zesty schmear that takes center stage on any bagel of your choice — and The Taylor Hamilton Egg & Cheese — a flavorful ensemble of freshly scrambled eggs, Taylor Ham, American Cheese and a drizzle of hot honey, all on your favorite bagel.
