Holy Schnitzel To Open In Boca Raton
The Fast-Casual Concept Will Open With Schnitzel, Burgers And Kosher Eats
A new restaurant is preparing to take over the former Boca Grill space on Glades Road. Holy Schnitzel, a kosher fast-casual concept with roots in Staten Island, N.Y., is moving in with a menu built around its signature chicken schnitzel, family recipes and more than two dozen house-made sauces.
Founded in 2015 by siblings Sivan and Ofeer Benaltaba, Holy Schnitzel began in Staten Island with a simple goal: to offer families more convenient, affordable options for fast-casual kosher dining. The Boca Raton location will carry on that concept with signature hand-breaded schnitzel served in sandwiches, wraps and bowls, along with falafel, paninis, smash burgers and vegetarian options like Cauliflower Crunch. Favorites at other locations also include popcorn chicken, chicken fingers and BBQ Pulled Brisket Tacos.
Like its sister locations, the Boca Raton restaurant will emphasize fresh preparation and variety. The schnitzel is made in-house, with each piece pounded thin, seasoned and hand-breaded to order. The menu includes more than two dozen sauce options, from the house Holy Sauce and smoky garlic aioli to Chimichurri, Asian Sesame and a lineup of flavored mayos like garlic, spicy and jalapeño.
While the restaurant follows kosher dietary laws under rabbinical supervision, the menu is designed to appeal to a broad audience. Like its Hollywood location, the Boca Raton restaurant will allow diners to mix and match proteins, toppings and sauces, or choose from one of the house combinations.
