Stage Kitchen & Bar Now Open In Restaurant Row

Stage Kitchen & Bar has officially opened its doors in Restaurant Row, bringing a fresh and unique dining experience to Midtown Boca. Led by celebrated Chef Pushkar Marathe and partner Andy Dugard, it offers small plates inspired by a blend of global culinary influences.

The name “Stage” reflects Marathe’s own culinary journey. Pronounced staahj, it refers to a culinary intern who refines their skills and palate through experiences in kitchens worldwide. He explains: “The way I see Stage is like it’s a big tree. The branches are my travels all over the world, but the roots are deep in India.”

Stage Kitchen & Bar builds on the success of its first location in Palm Beach Gardens, which opened in 2019. With Marathe’s creative vision in the kitchen and Dugard’s expertise in hospitality, the restaurant quickly made its mark on the culinary scene, even earning Marathe the title of semifinalist for Best Chef: South by the James Beard Foundation.

Fulfilling the desire to share Stage Kitchen & Bar with a broader audience, Marathe and Dugard have now brought their acclaimed restaurant to Boca Raton, offering brunch, lunch and dinner. Menu highlights include “hot snacks” like Bang Bang Cauliflower, Green Chickpea Hummus and Wagyu Beef Kushiyaki, as well as “cold snacks” such as Ceviche with mushrooms or a Charcuterie Board featuring the chef’s selection of meat and cheese.

For heartier fare, order the Pan Roasted Local Fish, served with okra, heirloom tomato and rasam hollandaise; Butter Chicken Malasa or Beef Cheek Cavatelli with mushrooms, spinach, pickled carrot and Parmigiano Reggiano. Meals are complemented by a selection of vegetable and grain sides, including Kai-Kai Eggplant, Street Corn, Roasted Shishito Peppers and Baby Gem Salad with sherry shallot vinaigrette, avocado, corn and parmesan cheese.

For dessert, satisfy your sweet tooth with options like Cardamom Rose Cheesecake, Triple Chocolate Cookie or Banoffe Pie (roasted banana, white chocolate dulce de leche and graham crackers).
