Dine Out Lauderdale Restaurant Months have returned through Sept. 30, bringing specially priced menus and culinary experiences to restaurants throughout Greater Fort Lauderdale. Participating restaurants are offering three-course prix-fixe menus priced at $35 for lunch and $45 or $60 for dinner, along with a premium Lux tier starting at $75. The program also includes cooking demonstrations, hands-on classes and other culinary events.
MAASS
Fort Lauderdale’s only Michelin-starred restaurant, MAASS is offering three Dine Out Lauderdale dinner experiences: a three-course menu for $60, five courses for $95 or seven courses for $155. Every meal has the option of Australian wagyu flank, while other menu selections range from foie gras and yellowfin tuna crudo to brioche stuffed chicken with Japanese sweet potato and apricot “BBQ” jus. Australian wagyu flank is also available.
Steak 954
Located at the W Fort Lauderdale, the oceanfront restaurant Steak 954 is participating with a $75 Lux dinner available Sunday through Thursday. Diners can begin with Maine lobster bisque, a wedge salad or Caesar salad before choosing an entrée such as filet mignon, roasted chicken with foie gras jus or Atlantic salmon with lemon beurre blanc. Dessert choices include chocolate délice or brûléed lemon tart.
Ocean Prime
Ocean Prime is also participating in the $75 Lux tier with a waterfront dinner menu. Following a choice of soup or salad, entrées include scallop and lobster risotto, teriyaki salmon with sticky rice or roasted chicken. Guests can upgrade to an 8-ounce filet mignon, while the restaurant’s signature butter cake completes the meal.
Mai-Kai
The restored Mai-Kai brings Polynesian-inspired dishes to Dine Out Lauderdale with a $60 dinner offered Monday through Friday. Selections include Mai-Kai salad with papaya and island vinaigrette, shrimp teriyaki, Panang chicken curry and the restaurant’s signature Mai-Kai beef with tamarind and soy caramel. The menu also includes a beverage, such as the Mai-Tai tiki staple, and you can enjoy the song and dance of the Polynesian Islanders Revue while you eat for an additional show charge.
Timpano Las Olas
Timpano Las Olas is offering a $60 Italian dinner menu Sunday through Friday. Entrées include chicken marsala and fettuccine alla vodka, followed by a choice of seasonal gelato or tiramisu.
Daniel’s
A Michelin-recommended restaurant, Daniel’s showcases Florida ingredients throughout its $75 Lux dinner menu. The meal begins with Sullivan Street sourdough bread served with sheep’s milk ricotta, honey and thyme. Additional selections include Florida burrata, Farmer Mike’s zucchini tataki, Florida Keys red snapper and Florida wagyu bolognese, with soft serve or sorbet rounding out the meal. Daniel’s Miami location is also participating in Miami Spice Restaurant Months through the end of September.
Ukiah Japanese Smokehouse
Japanese flavors meet American barbecue at Ukiah Japanese Smokehouse in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Its $60 dinner, available Sunday through Thursday, includes dishes such as marinated black cod with summer vegetables and yuzu and the karaage chicken with Kewpie mayonnaise and Kyoto Carolina barbecue sauce.
