Just four months after opening, Inter Miami CF’s Nu Stadium continues to build out its local food lineup, with Miami Slice opening two concession locations and La Birra Bar expanding to a second stand. Both debuted Aug. 5 as part of the stadium’s growing emphasis on South Florida restaurants.
Miami Slice, which began as a pop-up in 2019, has become one of the Magic City’s best-known pizza concepts. At Nu Stadium, fans can find the Margherita and Pepperoni Proper — its two signature flavors — at sections 105 and 135.
“Joining the Inter Miami family at the Nu Stadium feels pretty surreal. Everyone here at Miami Slice Hospitality is a huge fútbol/soccer fan, some of us players and some of us Season Ticket Members here since season 1,” Alejandro Diaz, founder and managing partner of Miami Slice Hospitality, said in a press release.
La Birra Bar, meanwhile, has opened a second stadium location near the supporters’ section. Founded in Buenos Aires in 2001, the burger concept opened its first U.S. restaurant in North Miami Beach in 2021 and has earned a devoted South Florida following, winning the South Beach Wine & Food Festival’s Burger Bash People’s Choice Award three times, including in 2025 and 2026. Stadium offerings include the Double Cheeseburger, Bacon Cheeseburger and Crispy Dubai, which was named the overall winner at the 2026 Dubai Burger Championship. For Cocchia, the goal is to bring that same standard to the stadium setting.
“We want to demonstrate that it's possible to serve the best burger in the world with the same quality, speed and consistency, even in a demanding setting like a soccer stadium,” Daniel Cocchia, founder of La Birra Bar, said in a statement.
The additions join a growing food and beverage roster at the 26,700-seat stadium, which opened April 4. Existing eateries include Coyo Taco, Club de la Milanesa, Doggi’s Arepas, Mr. Chory, Churromanía and ¡Dale! Dog, Café Bustelo Bar & Ventanita, along with several concepts created by Delaware North, the stadium’s food and beverage provider. The market-style Mercado MIA offers grab-and-go creations from James Beard Award–winning chef Michelle Bernstein, while Miami chef Brad Kilgore serves as culinary director of Nu Club, the stadium’s highest-end hospitality experience, Miami Slice and La Birra Bar are the latest examples of that local focus.
“We're excited to welcome Miami Slice and a new La Birra Bar stand to the food and beverage lineup at Nu Stadium,” Laurence McMillon, senior director of food and beverage for Inter Miami CF, added in a statement. “As two of Miami's most beloved local brands, they represent exactly the kind of experience we want to bring to our fans.”
