The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival began with a performance of “Macbeth” in 1990 at Palm Beach Community College. Every summer since, theatergoers have attended expertly executed productions. Last summer, due to the global pandemic and its restrictions, the Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival occurred remotely, with a professionally filmed show available for virtual viewing.

Now, for its 31st year, the team is gearing up to perform “A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream” live at the Seabreeze Amphitheater. The beloved Shakespearean comedy follows Theseus, Duke of Athens, and Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons, as they prepare for marriage.
