Water For Elephants
The Big Top is rolling into town. The Tony Award–nominated Broadway musical "Water for Elephants" — based on Sara Gruen’s bestselling novel — makes its highly anticipated South Florida debut at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts from Nov. 11–23.
Praised by The New York Times as “gorgeously imaginative,” the show follows a young man who, after losing everything, hops a passing circus train and discovers a new life — and love — among its extraordinary performers. Told through a blend of puppetry, acrobatics and heartfelt storytelling, "Water for Elephants" reimagines a beloved tale of resilience, reinvention and the beauty of finding family in unexpected places.
With music by PigPen Theatre Co. and direction by Tony Award nominee Jessica Stone (Kimberly Akimbo), the production dazzles with award-winning choreography and design that bring the magic of the circus to life on stage.
