If you’ve ever been curious about how creativity and science collide, this is your chance to experience invention up close. “Leonardo da Vinci – 500 Years of Genius” is more than an exhibition; it’s a full-body dive into the mind of one of history’s greatest thinkers.
The exhibition opened in October and will run through April 5, 2026, at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Miami. It was produced by Grande Experiences in collaboration with the Museo Leonardo da Vinci in Rome.
Visitors can explore full-scale replicas of da Vinci’s flying machines, military inventions and engineering marvels; immerse themselves in animated projections of “The Last Supper” and the “Mona Lisa”; and dive into his anatomical studies with interactive installations such as the “Vitruvian Man.”
“This exhibition offers a unique opportunity for guests of all ages to explore the full spectrum of da Vinci’s genius, from his artistic masterpieces to his scientific innovations, while inspiring curiosity, creativity and a deeper understanding of the world around us,” says Analisa Duran, Knight senior director of science education at the museum.
Organized into six captivating sections, the exhibition is a mesmerizing journey through da Vinci’s notebooks and ideas — from physics and flight to music and optics. Whether you’re a curious student, a lifelong learner or just looking for an inspiring day out, this experience is for you.
