When the South Florida Travel & Adventure Show opens its doors Feb. 28 through March 1 at the Broward County Convention Center, it will be the first time Florida is featured as an official destination within the nationally touring show’s lineup. This development signals the state’s growing role as a hub for global travel and exploration.
More than 250 exhibitors will transform the convention floor into a living atlas, offering direct access to cruise lines, tour operators and destinations spanning every continent. Attendees can compare itineraries, uncover hidden gems and secure show-only travel deals designed to turn dream trips into reality.
The event also features celebrity travel experts, including Phil Rosenthal, creator and host of “Somebody Feed Phil,” who brings his signature humor and culinary curiosity; Pauline Frommer, who offers insider wisdom from one of travel’s most trusted families; and CBS News Travel Editor Peter Greenberg, who delivers investigative insights. With more than 60 seminars, these sessions feel less like lectures and more like immersive masterclasses.
Cultural performances, meet-and-greets and giveaways add to the festival-like atmosphere. For first-time adventurers, it’s an accessible entry point into the world of travel. For seasoned globe-trotters, it’s a reminder that the next great journey is always within reach.
