Mumford & Sons bring their high-energy performances and sing-along-driven sets to Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, taking the stage on Aug. 6 as part of the band’s ‘Prizefighter Tour.’
The British folk-rock group returns to South Florida after the February release of its “Prizefighter” album, which peaked at No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard 200, No. 2 on Independent Albums and No. 1 on Top Rock & Alternative Albums.
“Prizefighter” features collaborations with several artists, including country star Chris Stapleton; Irish musician Hozier, known for his debut single, “Take Me to Church”; Florida-raised indie-folk artist Gigi Perez; and pop singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams.
Fans can expect a set that blends Mumford & Sons’ signature sound with newer material. Opening the show is Medium Build, the stage name of American singer-songwriter Nicholas Carpenter, whose music incorporates indie rock, folk-rock, alternative country and pop.
The band has also partnered with Plus1 to support the nonprofit Children in Conflict. One dollar from every ticket sold will go toward protecting and educating children affected by war.
Doors open around 6:30 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. show.
