If you’re looking for the perfect pumpkin, we’ve got the place for you. And, with more than 2,500 gourds on offer, you’ll have plenty from which to choose.
Mark your calendar for the Boca Raton Pumpkin Patch Festival at the Mizner Park Amphitheater in Boca Raton on Oct. 19 & 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“Let your inner Picasso emerge at our pumpkin decorating tent. For a small fee ($3 to $5), you can use all of our crafting supplies to turn your pumpkins into spooky jack-o-lanterns, goofy aliens or even a pretty kitty princess,” notes the event website. “Oh, and best of all, we clean up the mess. It’s an easy and fun activity to enjoy with the whole family.”
The festival, designed to celebrate all things fall, also includes a chance to dress up a scarecrow, enjoy carnival rides, navigate an inflatable cornstalk maze and take family photos with themed backgrounds.
The pumpkin theme even extends to the food at the festival, where you can indulge in everything from a pumpkin curry shish kebob to pumpkin pizza. Of course, there’s also pumpkin pie for less adventurous eaters. And, for those who simply don’t like pumpkin, a variety of traditional carnival food will be available. O
