Local pickle enthusiasts finally have a festival to call their own. The inaugural South Florida Pickle Festival lands at South County Regional Park in Boca Raton Oct. 17–18, turning the beloved snack into a full-weekend celebration.
Visitors can expect pickle-themed food, quirky beverages and family-friendly entertainment throughout the festival grounds. There will be plenty of opportunity to try inventive takes on the classic dill, but beyond the food and beverages, the event embraces the playful side of pickle culture with a pickle-eating contest, a pickle-shaped mechanical bull, a kids zone and a craft marketplace featuring local makers and specialty products. Live music runs throughout the weekend, adding to the fair-like atmosphere.
As with other Battle Bros Events productions, the festival supports local businesses, nonprofits and community engagement through accessible entertainment.
