Fans of the 2016 Academy Award-winning hit “La La Land,” starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, can now experience the evocative film like never before with a live concert at Miami’s Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts April 9 to 10.
This one-of-a-kind performance combines a screening of the highly praised musical with a 50-piece orchestra and jazz band playing the film’s iconic soundtrack. Audiences will be swept away by the brilliant compositions of Justin Hurwitz, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, with celebrated tracks like “The End,” “Planetarium, “Engagement Party,” “Audition (Fools Who Dream)” and, of course, “City of Stars,” the film’s emblematic song that earned numerous accolades, including Best Original Song at both the 74th Golden Globe Awards and 89th Academy Awards.
The concert brings to life the unforgettable story of Mia, an aspiring actress, and Sebastian, a passionate jazz musician, as they fall in love while pursuing their dreams in Los Angeles, the City of Stars.
