The past takes a lively turn as the Boca Raton Historical Society and The Schmidt Boca Raton History Museum bring back one of the city’s most anticipated social fundraisers. Set for Sept. 18, Toasts, Tastes & Trolleys invites guests to an evening of food, drinks and local history aboard vintage-style trolleys.
Beginning at 6 p.m., attendees embark on a multistop journey through Boca Raton, visiting local destinations for light bites, themed cocktails and presentations focused on the people, places and events that helped shape the city.
“Toasts, Tastes & Trolleys is a one-of-a-kind experience that blends history with a lively social atmosphere,” event chair Dawn Zook said in a statement. “It’s a chance to explore Boca Raton in a new way while supporting the preservation of its stories for future generations.”
The annual event supports the Boca Raton Historical Society and The Schmidt Boca Raton History Museum, helping fund exhibitions, educational programming and other efforts that keep local history accessible while highlighting the city’s heritage.
By combining storytelling with guided transportation, dining experiences and community engagement, Toasts, Tastes & Trolleys gives residents an opportunity to learn more about Boca Raton’s past while enabling efforts to safeguard its historical resources.
