If you’re still wondering how to keep your little ones entertained ahead of the upcoming school year, the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce has you covered.
Throughout the entire month of August, the Chamber is hosting its popular Boca Chamber Festival Days (BCFD) — a month-long celebration designed to raise awareness and support for the philanthropic efforts of its nonprofit members across the community.
From small gatherings to larger community celebrations, the festival’s lineup offers a variety of events throughout Boca Raton for all interests and ages.
Events commence Aug. 1 with the official “Kick Off” and continue with highlights like “100 Years, Bites & Cheers” on Aug. 5, and “History Tours of The Boca Raton” on Aug. 9 — a unique opportunity to keep celebrating the city’s centennial milestone.
For the sporty crowd, the Chamber offers “Pickleball With Purpose: A Rales JFS & Fuller Center Event” on Aug. 12, where participants can rally for a cause, and “Bowling For Bread” on Aug. 24. Adults can indulge at food- and drink-themed events like the “Battle of the Bartenders” on Aug. 22 and the lively “Beer Tasting Bash” on Aug. 27.
Looking for something out of the ordinary? Check out the local flair at “Boca’s Got Talent” on Aug. 18 or test your skills at the “Chopstick Challenge” on Aug. 19. For a family-friendly finale, don’t miss “Bingo and Brunch 4 Kids” on Aug. 30 — a perfect close to a month of community, celebration and fun.
