Internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter David Broza brings his high-energy guitar performances to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts on Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m.
“To see Broza in concert, is to be mesmerized,” wrote The New York Times, and it’s easy to see why. Broza’s concerts are more than musical events, they’re emotional journeys, woven with rhythm, soul and a message of hope.
Broza first burst onto the international scene in 1977 with his hit “Yihye Tov” (Things Will Be Better), a song that has become an anthem for peace. Since then, he has released a cascade of multiplatinum albums in Hebrew, English and Spanish, each infused with his signature blend of flamenco rhythms, fiery strumming and rock ’n’ roll soul.
Raised in Israel, Spain and England, he brings a global sensibility to his art, bridging cultures with every chord. Beyond the stage, Broza is a tireless peace advocate and humanitarian, using music as a tool for unity and understanding. He is the founder of the nonprofit One Million Guitars, which gives underprivileged schoolchildren around the world handcrafted guitars and the foundation of a musical education.
Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to his sound, Broza’s show promises an unforgettable night of music, movement and meaning.
