Beaux Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to encourage among children, young people and adults appreciation of fine and applied arts. We are proud to sponsor events and support our sponsors that bring the community together to celebrate culture while benefiting the arts.
Beaux Arts Fort Lauderdale began in 1959 and has raised more than $5 million dollars for NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale. Today, 60 years later, we continue to evolve and support our community with a focus on Broward County Students supporting Museum on the Move.
Historically, funding provided by Beaux Arts paid for transportation, tours and art supplies for Museum on the Move. However, now that in-person field trips are on hold due to the pandemic, Museum on the Move has adapted virtual live-streaming and pre-recorded programming available to students, wherever they may be!
Thanks in part to the funding provided by Beaux Arts, the museum has been able to upgrade their technology to bring state of the art education including virtual tours, art activities and necessary supplies to students across Broward.
