If you have been living in pain due to an injury or a medical condition, then you know it can keep you from performing everyday activities and enjoying life. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
The medical team at Comprehensive Pain Care of South Florida offers innovative pain management therapies to patients suffering from a wide range of conditions, including back and neck pain, headaches, joint pain, post herpetic neuralgia, arthritis, cancer and other diseases.
The center employs a multidisciplinary approach to treating pain that takes the individual patient’s condition into account using a variety of treatments, such as injections, regenerative medicine and therapy, to help return people to an active life.
Dr. Howell R. Goldfarb, who is fellowship trained in pain management and board certified in anesthesiology and pain management, serves as the center’s medical director. He has been practicing in Palm Beach County for 30 years.
“I was the first fellowship trained pain physician in Palm Beach County,” he says. “During my 30 years here, nothing has given me more joy than being able to help people in pain.”
His partners include Dr. Bruce Hindin and Dr. Keith Dietrick, both of whom are board certified in anesthesiology and pain management, and Dr. Humberto Porrata, who is board certified in physical medicine and pain management.
While some people live in pain for years before seeking treatment, early intervention is important to a successful outcome.
“We do everything we can to help people avoid surgery and return them to the lives they wish,” says Dr. Goldfarb.
