OUR MISSION: Save lives by meeting the most critical needs in our communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer.
No matter who you are or where you live, breast cancer may touch your life. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the U.S. and around the world. Men can also get breast cancer.
There is good news. Progress in treatment and early detection has led to improved survival for people of all ages and races, and with all stages of breast cancer. In fact, there are more than 3.8 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S. today (more than any other group of cancer survivors) [1]!
