Bill Hasey, President of Bloomfield Construction, had an unusual journey in real estate and development to become the go-to developer of luxury properties in sought-after Boca Raton neighborhoods.
It started when he relocated from Bloomfield, Michigan to Boca Raton in 1978. He purchased vacant land in the hope that his sister would move down. She never moved and Hasey decided to build a home on the land and sell it.
Predicting real estate market trends, he purchased and developed lots in 28 communities in Broward, Collier and Palm Beach counties over the next 40 years, building some of the most beautiful homes in South Florida in the St. Andrews Country Club, Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club and Frenchman’s Reserve Country Club neighborhoods.
Today, Bloomfield Construction builds homes and estates from the ground up that span from 6,000 square feet to 15,000 square feet. No project is too large; no customization too great.
“The fun is creating something new. Homes are highly customized, top-of-the-line with home automation and ‘smart’ everything,” Hasey says. “Inside and out, there is nothing a client could wish for that we haven’t done before.”
Each Bloomfield Construction home comes with landscape design and full interior design services, including all furniture and fixtures.
Bloomfield Construction’s safety standards are at the highest level. Two independent engineering firms, including a licensed structural engineer, inspect progress every step of the way.
It’s a turnkey (Hasey even supplies the toothbrushes), fully-customized experience with unmatched customer service. The ideal client has purchased a vacant lot or a tear-down wanting to create their dream home. Hasey, who also owns Royal Palm Brokerage, can also help clients find premium homesites.
Bloomfield Construction has added new clients in neighborhoods outside the country club communities, handling everything related to tearing down existing structures and building a custom estate.
Many clients are referred by real estate agents.
“Our clientele are very accomplished people in all kinds of industries and I love having conversations with them,” Hasey says. “After a home is complete, I always have a bottle of champagne in the refrigerator.”
