Jillian Frieder, M.D., a board-certified dermatologist is setting the pace in a competitive field. She will open her third location in just three years, by the end of the summer, which will be located in Pompano Beach. Dr. Frieder has offices in Boca Raton and Palm Beach Gardens.
What’s fueling the practice’s growth? Dr. Frieder offers a nonsurgical treatment for nonmelanoma skin cancer that uses image-guided superficial radiation therapy, known as IG-SRT, that is becoming popular. The treatment uses low amounts of X-ray energy to eliminate cancer cells and allows healthy skin to regenerate. IG-SRT is 99% effective in treating skin cancer and is also seen as an alternative to surgery because it is noninvasive, has no downtime and no restrictions.
Frieder Dermatology, a full-service boutique practice, also offers a range of dermatological services and treats people of all ages for conditions like psoriasis, rosacea, eczema and others, as well as cosmetic dermatological treatments including Botox, Dermal fillers and skin rejuvenation procedures.
While she offers a suite of services, she’s not one to push them on people. “I’m careful about what I do. It’s not about making money, but what a patient most needs,” says Dr. Frieder.
Another factor driving the success of the family-operated business is its concierge service without the price tag. There is no extra charge for “concierge service.”
“We treat every patient with the best possible care, like concierge. We go above and beyond what is expected,” says Dr. Frieder, who takes pride in how quickly she and staff respond to patients’ emails and calls.
Patients can often get an appointment on the day they call, especially if there is an urgent need. “If you call in the morning, we will try to squeeze you in that day,” says Dr. Frieder.
There is typically very little wait time during office visits. Her bedside manner is quite personable.
“I get to know my patients and their family background. I develop relationships. There are some patients that I spend time with outside of the office,” says Dr. Frieder.
The practice has a family vibe. “Everyone knows everyone,” says Dr. Frieder.
