Maria Clara Minas and Salim Skaf
Furniture Retailer
Harmony Studio Luxury Furniture in Delray Beach caters to a luxury lifestyle. They feel that your home reflects your individuality. It’s a sanctuary for enjoying special moments and making memories. It’s where we want to live in harmony.
Attention to detail and craftsmanship has helped lead to the brand’s success. Their pieces aim to provide elegance and sophistication to enhance the appeal of any space in your home.
Salim Skaf, founder and CEO, describes Harmony’s products as “modern organic” with a “high-end look.” He says they have warm hues. Think beiges, natural tones of woods like walnut and oak, whites and taupes. You’ll find some pops of color with blues and greens.
Products are designed for the Florida market and are made in their manufacturing plant in Brazil. They sell oversized coffee tables that are suitable for larger spaces.
“It’s rare to find pieces that can be in any size and dimension for big properties,” says Skaf.
Choose from in-stock items or get ones made to order. Items include beds, benches and ottomans, chaises and lounges, coffee tables, consoles, desks, dining chairs and counter stools, dining tables, lounge chairs, media and sofa units, mirrors, nightstands and dressers, sectionals and sofas, side tables, sideboards, bars, bar carts and rugs. You’ll find 200 fabrics, 50 leathers, 25 painting finishes and 10 types of wood. Pieces are made with quality materials and using ecofriendly ways.
“We serve our clients to help them achieve the harmony that they want in their home,” says Skaf. “Our main strength is being able to customize pieces and sizes to fix clients’ needs. We can help them design and develop their dreams. Our custom possibilities are infinite.”
Previously, Skaf was an executive for fast-growing companies. His family had owned a rug business. “I dreamed of returning to the family business.” Skaf launched Harmony in 2019, a few months before the pandemic hit. Yet, the world climate benefited them. “People started valuing their home more since they couldn’t travel or do much,” he says. “They realized their home wasn’t in harmony with what they needed. They needed to create a better environment.”
