Sarah Steinbaum, Esquire, of Jacoby & Meyers PLLC and Sarah Steinbaum, PA is a lawyer with over 30 years of legal experience who specializes in personal injury claims, with a concentration in medical malpractice, wrongful death, product liability and accident cases.
Her goal is to provide the best experience and results for her clients, driven by a value-based approach to practicing law with integrity and care. Her approach stems from watching how her father, a family physician in solo practice, and her mother, a sole proprietor of an art gallery, changed people’s lives by practicing their professions with integrity and heart.
“Some firms have to churn cases to keep up with advertising costs — that’s not my model,” she says. “I want my clients to trust me and understand that I’m here to help them get a good result. Once you’re a client, you’re family.”
Fluent in Spanish and conversational in Italian, Steinbaum can effectively communicate regularly with clients — enabling direct interaction in their native language providing a “personal and intimate type of practice.” Further, she “knows clients are happy when they recommend their family and friends.”
Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Steinbaum received her bachelor’s from Rice University and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law. Following law school, Steinbaum practiced with two Miami defense firms. Since 2011, she serves as an Adjunct Professor at UM, teaching law students litigation skills and trial advocacy. Steinbaum proudly serves as the Miami Treasurer of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an invitation-only organization of skilled, experienced trial lawyers who practice with integrity and civility. Steinbaum contributes to the local community by engaging in leadership and volunteer roles with the Miami-Dade County Public Schools, as a Guardian Ad Litem, and on the Florida Bar Grievance and Fee Dispute Committees.
Steinbaum’s commitment to helping others is reflected in her experience in both the private and public arenas, and backed by her belief that practicing law is “not only her profession, but a calling.”
