Stephanie Khanat and Tesla Godoy Perlman
Interior Design Firm
For Stephanie Khanat and Tesla Godoy Perlman, choosing a name for their design firm was a heartfelt decision rooted in love and legacy. Jonah Casey Interiors was named after their sons, Jonah and Casey, born just three days apart.
“We are deeply passionate about our families. Our children inspire us daily and building something to pass down to them is incredibly meaningful,” says Khanat.
“As two moms, we’re equally committed to our families and our careers,” Perlman adds.
Both women bring a wealth of expertise to the table. Khanat is a licensed general contractor, while Perlman is an interior architect with a background in finance. Their combined knowledge, training at prestigious design institutions and experience under nationally recognized designers have shaped them into a dynamic duo.
Perlman recalls her early passion for design: “I used to make wallpaper from magazine cutouts and rearrange furniture in my bedroom when I was just 8 years old.”
In January 2025, the pair officially launched Jonah Casey Interiors in Delray Beach, Florida. While Khanat is based in South Florida, Perlman lives and designs in Northwest Arkansas, traveling to Southeast Florida to meet with clients and oversee projects.
“There’s a growing demand for design services in Arkansas, especially with the Walmart home office based there,” Perlman explains. “While many of our vendors and clients are in Florida, expanding into Arkansas made sense.”
Jonah Casey Interiors offers a comprehensive range of services, from full-scale interior design to an E-Design platform. The firm integrates cutting-edge tools such as 3D renderings and virtual walkthroughs to ensure clients can fully envision their spaces before any work begins.
“We are the new generation of designers, blending established experience with fresh perspectives,” says Khanat. “We provide a one-stop solution for all interior needs, including millwork and stonework.”
Beyond growing their brand, the designers are focused on building a lasting impact within the industry.
“Our goal is to foster a healthy and inspiring work environment that nurtures the next wave of designers,” they share. “There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing our clients’ visions come to life, knowing we played a role in creating beautiful spaces and memorable experiences.”
