Attorney Michael Santucci, of the firm 500law, comes from a family of fighters. “My brothers and I are all black belts and boxers. That translates well into advocacy for our clients in the courtroom,” he says. “There’s an art in knowing when to fight and when to look for compromise or synergy. I’m blessed with the opportunity to share that strength and wisdom to empower our clients.”
His colleagues at 500law are part of an extended family. “Our uniquely skilled team includes entrepreneurs, engineers, professional musicians, designers, two former Florida judges and a pastor.” Their shared mission is to represent clients “with enthusiasm, humanity and purpose.”
Santucci was drawn to the law in college after an ethics professor “planted a seed in my mind that I had a talent and passion for analysis and debate over the pressing issues of the day.”
His father, who worked in the music industry in New York City, encouraged him to pursue law and put his strong writing and communication skills to use instead of following in his footsteps.
Early in his career, Santucci — who focuses on intellectual property and entertainment law — helped assemble a legal dream team, including legendary attorneys Johnny Cochran and Willie Gary, to take on the Walt Disney Company. An Orlando jury awarded his clients $240 million.
In addition to celebrities, he represents public companies and family-owned businesses. He manages intellectual property portfolios and disputes for clients around the world.
Santucci lives with his two daughters in Boca Raton, where they’re active at St. Jude Catholic Church. He calls South Florida “home to some of the most extraordinary people in the world — entrepreneurs, celebrities, immigrants and transplants looking for a better life. Even the President of the United States has made South Florida his home.”
He adds: “Our neighbors are highly educated, savvy and ambitious. They don’t want disclaimers and CYA letters. They want straight answers, solutions and results.”
That’s where Santucci delivers — and he’s planning a Boca Raton office expansion for 2026.
