Mark Osherow and Kenyetta Alexander are more than just highly qualified attorneys. They are trusted advisors who work closely together to ensure that their clients receive the best legal representation possible.
They have known each other and worked together for nearly 20 years, assisting clients with a wide range of complex business and commercial litigation matters including trade secret and non-compete litigation, real estate, construction, fraud, business torts, securities, labor and employment, professional liability, and corporate, partnership and bankruptcy-related disputes.
“We both are able to understand the details and intricacies of helping businesses and individuals navigate and understand complex litigation issues,” says Osherow, who is a board-certified business litigator. “We are partner level lawyers who work in a small firm and deliver top notch services to our clients.”
Osherow, who has practiced law for more than three decades, is well respected by his peers. He holds an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, achieving the agency’s highest marks for both competency and ethics, along with several other recognitions.
Alexander worked with Osherow, who she calls her mentor, first as a law clerk while attending law school and then as an associate in the firm for eight years. She rejoined Osherow again in 2020, this time as a partner in his firm.
“When clients see that they have a litigator with 30-plus years of experience and another partner who has almost 15 years of experience, they feel more at ease that their case is going to be litigated properly,” says Alexander.
Although both are skilled litigators, they always first look for ways to help clients settle their differences without going to court.
“There’s plenty of litigation to go around. We often encourage mediation whenever possible,” says Osherow, who is a Florida Qualified Arbitrator and a Florida Supreme Court Civil Mediator and has appeared before both FINRA and the American Arbitration Association.
Osherow and Alexander handle every aspect of their clients’ cases from start to finish. “We get phone calls early in the morning and late at night and we answer them because clients are important to us,” says Alexander.
