Brett M. Steinberg has always had a passion for helping people. After earning his undergrad degree at the University of Florida and his law degree at University of Miami School of Law, he worked as an assistant public defender at the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s office, where he represented those whose liberty was at stake. Steinberg also prosecutes claims for clients who were injured during cruise ship accidents. Having previously defended cruise lines in injury lawsuits filed against them, Steinberg uses that knowledge and experience to his client’s advantage.
In addition, he also prosecutes sexual assault claims. In 2022, Steinberg took a sexual assault case to trial, obtaining a $2.6 million verdict for his client against a drug and alcohol recovery center. “Their story needed to be heard because they deserved justice for what happened to them,” he says.
