Scott Teich
A Unique Approach To Wealth Management
Scott Teich, Vice President of Investments of Teich Wealth Management of Raymond James in Boca Raton, likens himself to a concierge doctor. These physicians take on a select number of clients and provide personalized service.
“I look at myself as a concierge advisor – providing customized advice, intellectual capital access and professional expertise, all at a reasonable cost without additional fees,” says Teich. “My success is based on working with a small number of quality families and business owners. I help them understand their goals and objectives, managed around their risks.”
With more than 25 years of experience in the financial services arena, he oversees and coordinates all facets of wealth management, including retirement and financial planning, estate planning, insurance analysis, risk management and investment allocation.
Teich says that most financial advisors focus on one thing: getting their clients’ money to grow over the years. But he takes a different approach. His clients already have enough money to retire and live a comfortable life.
“My business model is unique in that I provide a service that others don’t,” he says. “As you accumulate more wealth, what’s missing from your personal plan can hurt you. What you can take advantage of represents enormous financial issues. I take advantage of opportunities.”
Clients rave about Teich’s personalized approach to financial planning.
“Clients like that I treat them like family,” he says.
A proactive advisor, he keeps his clients’ interests top-of-mind.
“I always have my antennas up,” he says. “I’m looking for something to help improve their finances. My clients can expect not only a personalized approach to financial planning but also a professional relationship that they’ll find enriching and valuable.”
He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of South Florida and entered the industry in 1995 with Gruntal & Co., where Teich was a vice president of investments for six years before joining Raymond James in 2001.
He is actively involved in the Boca Raton community via youth sports programs, the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County and several charities. Originally from Philadelphia, Teich and his family have lived in Boca Raton since 1999.
