Tinka Ellington
Real Estate
In South Florida’s luxury real estate market, the expertise and professionalism of The Tinka Ellington Group stand out. Based in Boca Raton and now part of Compass, “this past year, we gained access to marketing power and industry insight we didn’t have before,” says Tinka Ellington. “That has elevated how we serve both new and longtime clients.”
What truly distinguishes the Tinka Ellington team is its collective strength. With nearly 100 years of combined experience spanning marketing, construction, engineering, design and finance, the group offers a depth rarely found in the traditional single-agent model. That’s one reason each listing is represented by two agents, ensuring strategic collaboration and comprehensive service from start to finish.
Waterfront demand remains strong, particularly in East Boca and Lighthouse Point. After a slower overall market last year, Ellington has felt a decisive resurgence. “There was a lot of pent-up buyer energy,” she explains. “People waited and now they are ready to move forward.”
Among the areas she considers a hidden gem is Lighthouse Point, valued for its location and waterfront value. She also sees significant interest in Pompano Beach, which offers rare walkability and comparatively attainable waterfront opportunities.
Ellington’s team exclusively represents Salato Residences, a 40-unit condominium building in Pompano Beach. “It’s expected to be delivered this year in May and we are already more than 60% sold out,” she says. “Residences have stunning ocean views, massive outdoor terraces and private elevator entry.” The building, she adds, appeals to investors as well as full- and part-time residents, “because of its fully managed rental program.”
Philanthropy and conservation are the heart of The Tinka Ellington Group. The team proudly supports Sea Turtle Specialists, a local nonprofit sea turtle rescue organization and hospital that provides care and conservation for endangered animals.
“We volunteer and fundraise for them and their hospital and assist with turtle and hatchling releases at sea. We want to protect the beautiful environment that makes our market so special.”
Ellington is especially proud of the feedback the team receives from buyers and sellers. “When a client takes the time to write a review, what stands out every time is our white glove service and how we guide them from start to finish without ego or pressure,” she says. “It’s not about us; it’s about them. We have two dedicated support staff because we want every detail handled proactively and always with our clients’ best interests at heart.”
