Originally from Cuba, Dr. Espinel was a general surgeon before relocating to the United States. He earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University and was recognized as Resident of the Year and later served as Chief Resident during his training. Prior to establishing his own practice, he worked as a hospitalist in South Florida.
