Business and Government Attorneys
You can count on Weiss Serota Helfman Cole + Bierman (WSHC+B) and its diverse group of talented attorneys. Whether they’re serving companies, governments or individuals, creatively solving clients’ problems is their highest priority.
WSHC+B is a full-service law firm with a range of practice areas. The firm moved into a new 12,000-square-foot space in Boca Raton in July. The Boca Raton office started with five attorneys in 2017 and now has 22 with plans to continue to grow. “While WSHC+B is relatively new to Boca Raton, many of us have been practicing law and serving the community for decades,” says partner Howard DuBosar, chair of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. “We have deep roots in south Palm Beach County.”
At some firms, attorneys work in a silo. That’s not the case here. “We pride ourselves on being a collaborative group,” says Brett J. Schneider, Boca Raton office managing director and chair of the firm’s labor and employment division. “We’re all sounding boards for each other. We share ideas and thoughts and support the collective needs of our clients.”
The Firm’s lawyers participate in legal and philanthropic activities throughout the community. “Giving back to the community is an important value of the firm,” says DuBosar. Many of the Firm’s attorneys have held leadership roles, including with the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County, Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County and various religious and charitable boards.
The Firm is proud of its nine Boca Raton lawyers and one Fort Lauderdale lawyer, who have received the Observer’s first ever Top Lawyer honor, including partners Andrew Demers, Howard DuBosar, Alen Hsu, Michael Kurzman, Ron Nisonson, Brett Schneider, Marc Solomon, Anthony Soroka, David Tolces and associate Harrison DuBosar. Demers focuses on real estate and lending matters; Howard and Harrison DuBosar and Hsu focus on commercial litigation matters; Kurzman and Nisonson are well-respected construction litigators; Schneider is a board certified labor and employment lawyer; Solomon is a corporate transactional attorney; and Soroka and Tolces are sophisticated government lawyers.
WSHC+B launched in Miami in 1991. Since then, the firm has opened four offices and expanded its practice areas and now has the expertise to represent companies, governments and individuals on an array of complex matters.
