Leanne Yarn
Residential Interior Design
Led by award-winning designer Leanne Yarn, Yarn Design Associates is a boutique design firm specializing in sophisticated spaces that blend modern elegance with timeless design. With a focus on client desire and outstanding customer service, Leanne and her team are there to get all the details right.
“Regardless of personal design preference, we’ll handle everything from conceptual development through final installation while helping clients steer clear of costly mistakes along the way,” says Yarn.
With close to 20 years of experience, Yarn and her team design interiors as distinctive as the lives they live. Each selection is special and has its own presence, adding that the project’s success reflects the client’s willingness to trust in her guidance.
“Where we really shine is our execution and project management. I have many clients who have worked with designers before and express to me that they’ve never had this level of communication nor the willingness of an interior designer to thoughtfully consider their budget when it comes to spending.”
With a passion for interior design from a young age, Yarn knew she was meant for the design world.
“My mother was an interior decorator; I still cannot believe where she found the time to do it while raising four children and owning a fashion boutique, but she loved it,” says Yarn. “I really enjoyed watching her work — she would bring me and my sister along to her installations and shop the furniture markets. I was always impressed by her talent despite her not having had formal training. My mother showed me that some things cannot be taught, you either have the eye and personality for this line of work or you don’t,” adds Yarn.
Yarn’s work has graced the pages of premier design publications including Architectural Digest, Veranda, Elle Decor and LUXE Interiors + Design.
In addition to her design achievements, Yarn is deeply committed to philanthropy. She is an alumni committee member with the Kips Bay Decorator Show House Palm Beach which is the highest grossing fundraiser each year for the Boys and Girls Club of America.
“Having been chosen to design a space in 2019 was such an honor. The application process is so selective that the only way I can explain it is that it’s like winning an Oscar. I was the youngest designer that year showcasing at the longest running and most prestigious show house in the country,” says Yarn. “Was a staple moment for me personally and professionally.”
Most recently, Yarn has also become a member of Impact 100 Palm Beach which is an all women’s nonprofit organization that collectively funds high-impact grants for local charities. “Earlier this year we raised over $800,000 for local PBC nonprofits. Felt really good to make a difference in my own backyard and with an incredible group of women.”
Outside of her love of interior design, Yarn enjoys playing tennis, cooking at home and most importantly spending time with husband Tomer and their two children.
