Chris Evert/Raymond James Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic To Welcome Slew Of Celebs

The 2018 Chris Evert/Raymond James Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic is set for Nov. 9-11. Celebrities playing in this year's event include Chris Noth, January Jones, Seal, Carson Kressley, Jon Lovitz, David Cook, Timothy Olyphant, Shawn Hatosy, Tate Donovan and Jamie McShane.

Noth makes his debut appearance at this year's event. He's best known for setting hearts aflutter as the iconic "Mr. Big" on HBO's "Sex and the City," which also launched two blockbuster movies.

Jones, known for her role as Betty Draper on AMC's critically acclaimed series "Mad Men," is also making her debut. She recently starred on the big screen as superhero Emma Frost in "X-Men: First Class."

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Seal returns to the courts as well as Kressley, who won a primetime Emmy during a five-year run as the fashion savant on Bravo's "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy."

Returning to the event are longtime participants and fan favorites comedian Lovitz and "American Idol" winner Cook, who is currently starring on Broadway in "Kinky Boots." Additional celebrities include actors Olyphant, Hatosy, Donovan and McShane.

The Pro-Celebrity event pairs celebrities and tennis pros for two days of tennis at the Delray Beach Tennis Center Nov. 10 & 11. The weekend also includes the Saturday evening Gala, which begins with red carpet celebrity appearances followed by dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions, and soon-to-be- announced entertainment at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. The entire event kicks off on Nov. 9 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club with an exclusive morning Pro-Am and an evening cocktail party. The Boca Raton Observer is the event's exclusive magazine sponsor.
