Reason To Celebrate

An elegant, fun and inspiring evening is planned for hundreds of Jewish philanthropists at the annual Sandler Family Major Gifts Event on Dec. 5.

This longstanding event, named for Phyllis and Harvey Sandler and family, will take place at The Polo Club of Boca Raton.

Guests will celebrate even more than the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County's 2019 Annual Campaign. They'll also celebrate Israel's 70th anniversary with its art, music and innovation as well as featured speaker Chemi Peres. Following in the footsteps of his father, Shimon, Peres is one of Israel's pre-eminent venture capitalists and is chairman of the Peres Institute for Peace and Innovation.

"We're excited to present a dynamic evening with Israeli art from Blue Gallery and music with the Shalom Band as well as our powerful speaker," says Robert Marton, who is co-chairing the event with his wife, Lisa, and Sandra and Howard Needleman. "We've designed a night to delight our major donors of all ages from throughout the community."

Adds Howard: "Our federation could not possibly accomplish what we do to meet the rising essential human needs in our community, in Israel and beyond without the overwhelming compassion, generosity and leadership of our stalwart champions - our major donors."

The couvert includes valet parking. Cocktail attire is requested, and dietary laws will be observed. A minimum household gift to the annual campaign is required to attend.
