Estate Professionals To Honor Jeffrey Baskies At Mitzvah Society Reception

Local estate planning professionals committed to the Jewish community's future will celebrate their 2019 honoree, Jeffrey A. Baskies, at the annual Irving Eckhardt Mitzvah Society Cocktail Reception on Feb. 4.

Over 15 years, the Mitzvah Society has inaugurated 76 professionals who have guided their clients to establish charitable legacies through the Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation (JJCF) of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County.

The Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) of the JJCF and the evening's co-chairs, Tom Katz and Jerry Wolf, invite colleagues, friends and others to honor Baskies at the Wyndham Hotel in Boca Raton and to enjoy cocktails and dinner; dietary laws will be observed.

"Jeff's tireless efforts are driven by his commitment to the well- being and security of our community for generations to come while facilitating his clients' financial and philanthropic goals," says JJCF Chair Laurence I. Blair.

A founding partner of Katz Baskies & Wolf PLLC and an honors graduate of Harvard Law School, Baskies is board certified in wills, trusts and estates by The Florida Bar. He serves on the executive council of the RPPTL Section and is co-editor-in-chief of its magazine, ActionLine. Baskies has been listed as a top attorney in Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers and Florida Trend magazine. He has authored more than 125 articles and is the successor author of the West/Reuters Treatise "Estate, Gift Trust and Fiduciary Tax Returns: Planning and Preparation."

The Boca Raton Observer is the event's exclusive media sponsor. O
