A Country-Style Soireé

On Jan. 27 at 7 p.m., rhinestone cowboys and cowgirls will gather at Boca West Country Club for the Adolph & Rose Levis Jewish Community Center’s Jeans, Jewels & The J – Sparkles & Spurs.

An evening of dinner, line dancing, silent and live auctions, with DJ and live entertainment, it promises to be a fun-filled way for our community to celebrate the organization, its committed supporters and to honor outstanding community leaders Toby & Leon Cooperman with the Phyllis & Harvey Sandler Crystal Award and Michele & Eliot Popper with the Shirley & Allan B. Solomon Leadership Award.

Jeans, Jewels, & The J- Sparkles & Spurs is generously sponsored by The Boca Raton Observer, Zo Diamonds and WLRN Public Radio. The event directly supports programs presented to our community through Levis JCC’s departments: Betty & Marvin Zale Early Childhood Learning Center, Helene & Roy Schwedelson Special Needs Department, Sports & Wellness, Arts, Culture & Learning at the Phyllis & Harvey Sandler Center, Marleen Forkas Camps, the Judy Levis Krug Boca Raton Jewish Film Festival and the Levis JCC Resale Boutique. Proceeds support a robust scholarship and financial aid program which enables hundreds of children to participate in preschool, special needs and summer camp programs that they would otherwise not be able to attend.
