Quantum Foundation Donates More Than $1.5 Million To Local Nonprofits

Quantum Foundation has invested more than $1.5 million in 16 Palm Beach County nonprofits this year. Quantum Foundation is a health foundation that aims to fund initiatives that improve the health of locals, with each dollar from grants going toward an organization in Palm Beach County.

“Our foundation has evolved to become a valued, strategic partner in grant making to Palm Beach County initiatives that improve access to health services, improve health systems, expand health education and focus on whole-health initiatives,” noted Quantum Foundation President Eric Kelly in a news release.

Now in its third decade of community investment, the foundation has given over $150 million to local grantees. Among 2021’s grant recipients are the Helping Our Wounded Foundation, which focuses on rehabilitating U.S. military veterans, and the Palm Beach County Health Department.

FoundCare, a “nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center with centers located throughout Palm Beach County,” received the largest grant from the Quantum Foundation in the first and second quarters of 2021. The allocated funds will be used to construct an in-house pharmacy at FoundCare’s new West Palm Beach center. The pharmacy will provide patients in need with convenient, affordable prescription medications.

FoundCare strives to fulfill healthcare needs for local families and individuals. The new pharmacy, projected to serve over 10,000 patients each year, is scheduled to open in early fall. In a news release, CEO of FoundCare Yolette Bonnet said, “We are deeply grateful for the generous support we have received from our friends at Quantum Foundation. Quantum Foundation’s support enables us to continue to expand our vital healthcare offerings during this unprecedented and critical time.”

Quantum Foundation keeps changing lives with its noteworthy grants and community service.
