Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation Hosts Sweet Sixteen Go Pink Luncheon

Time to pick out your best pink outfit!

The Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation is celebrating Sweet Sixteen, its 16th Annual Go Pink Luncheon, on Oct. 18 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club with keynote speaker Dr. Ken Jeong, a comedian, actor and writer whose wife survived breast cancer.

This year, Go Pink will feature an exciting grand prize – a 2020 New York Fashion Week experience – thanks to Saks Fifth Avenue, the event’s retail sponsor and sponsor of the Pink Daisy Pick Raffle Wall. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets or win a chance to participate in the raffle.

The grand prize package includes two tickets to September 2020 New York Fashion Week, dinner at L’Avenue at Saks Fifth Avenue New York, a makeover at Saks Fifth Avenue, hair services at The Salon Project by Joel Warren at Saks Fifth Avenue and a tour of The Vault with a custom-designed jewelry piece by Nini Jewels. The winner will also receive a hotel and airfare accommodations voucher.

The Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation is pleased to recognize the outstanding Go Pink Committee, including luncheon chair Patti Carpenter and honorary chairs Freyda Burns, Anne Green, Barbara Gutin, Michelle Coulombe-Hagerty, Debbie Lindstrom, Christine E. Lynn, Judy Levis Markhoff, Barbara Schmidt, Thea Stoneman and Elaine J. Wold.

All proceeds from the Go Pink Luncheon fund critically important breast cancer detection and treatment initiatives at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. The Boca Raton Observer is an event sponsor. O
