A Virgin Cruise Experience For Adults Only

At $450,000 (and up) a pop, you may not be able to afford a seat on Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic, but you might be able to book a room on the Scarlet Lady. 

The billionaire known for his airline, record label and most recently, space tourism company, is now in the cruise business. His first ship set sail from PortMiami in October with 1,200 passengers — or sailors — as the company prefers to call them. 

The cruises are for adults (18 years or older) only, so if you want to get away from your kids, or anyone’s kids for that matter, this is the ship for you.

There are 1,330 cabins and 78 RockStar Quarters, 86% of the cabins on Scarlet Lady feature a balcony and 93% offer an ocean view.

During her inaugural season, Scarlet Lady is sailing a mix of Mexican and Caribbean voyages with five-night “Riviera Maya” sailings to Cozumel/Playa Del Carmen; five-night “Mayan Sol” voyages to Costa Maya, Mexico and five-night “Dominican Daze” voyages to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Scarlet Lady’s “Fire & Sunset Soirées,” a four-night cruise, will stop in Nassau and then head to the Beach Club at Bimini.

There are more than 20 eateries on board and no pre-set dining times, so passengers have plenty of options. 

All passengers and crew must be fully vaccinated and guests will be tested for COVID-19 prior to boarding at no cost to them.
