Better In The Bahamas

Nassau Paradise Island Wine and Food Festival Promises Fun For All

by

If your idea of paradise is eating food prepared by some of the world’s top chefs, then you can get the best of both worlds at the Nassau Paradise Island Wine and Food Festival March 15-19.

The five-day gastronomic event is being hosted at the iconic Bahamian resort Atlantis Paradise Island and will feature Tony Abou-Ganim, aka the Modern Mixologist; chef, cookbook author and TV personality Alex Guarnaschelli; James Beard–nominated Chef J.J. Johnson; Chef and Restaurateur Aarón Sánchez; Israeli-American Chef Alon Shaya; Michelin-starred Chef Michael White and “Bizarre Foods” host Andrew Zimmern.

The festival will highlight the island as a growing culinary and entertainment hub, as well as awareness for the Atlantis Blue Project Foundation, whose mission is to protect and preserve marine wildlife and its endangered habitats throughout the Bahamas and Caribbean.

Atlantis Paradise Island is the only destination in the Caribbean with three Michelin-rated chefs. They, along with local and regional chefs, will also showcase their talents.

And, as Atlantis Paradise Island prepares to celebrate its 25th anniversary, the oceanside resort is undergoing a multimillion-dollar renovation that features the addition of new restaurants and bars including Paranza by Chef Michael White, Café Martinique, helmed by globally acclaimed Chef Adrian Delcourt and The Dilly Club, the new offshoot of local favorite Bon Vivants Bar & Café.
