Cowie and his Thrive Hospitality team — whose clients include Oprah, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Aniston and Elton John — selected furnishings, décor and art by Jane Manus, Gino Miles and Tigran Tsitoghdzyan for The Beach Club Lounge and Marisol restaurant. Both debuted in December.

Steps from the beach, Marisol’s inspiration came from iconic beach clubs along the Mediterranean. Decked out with a sophisticated color palette of soft blues, neutrals, natural wood and teak furniture, the restaurant is the perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a spirited lunch. The menu boasts fresh seafood and dishes that capture the simplicity found throughout the Mediterranean as well as some of Cowie’s favorite rosé wines.

An ocean-chic vibe boosted by a playlist ranging from Brazilian bossa nova to retro classics can be enjoyed at The Beach Club Lounge, which offers indoor and outdoor seating. 

As the day progresses, the menu does as well, from barista-made lattes and breakfast to light lunches to Mediterranean-style mezze plates and sushi at night. Sake and wines inspired by Cowie’s travels in Sicily, Sardinia and the Greek Islands are offered as perfect complements.
