A select group of who’s who in the world of design is coming together for a good cause.

Twenty-four of the country’s top designers will transform “The Mansion of Northwood” into a showcase as part of a fundraiser for Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club and Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County.

The Show House, which will be open for one month starting March 5, is located at 3001 Spruce Ave. in West Palm Beach’s Old Northwood Historic District, just a few blocks from one of the 17 Boys & Girls Clubs in the county.

“We hope to introduce teen club members interested in design to some of the experts as they reimagine the Show House. This will benefit our teen members while also allowing the designers to understand firsthand the importance of the Boys & Girls Club mission,” says President and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County Jaene Miranda.

The list of designers includes Nikki Levy of Boca Raton and seasonal Palm Beach resident Jim Dove — who has a satellite office in West Palm Beach. The Lewis Design Group of Glen Cove, New York, slated to open a studio in the Palm Beach Area, will also participate. This is the fifth year for the Kips Bay event and the show houses have raised more than $25 million to date.
