The event, which celebrates its 25th anniversary, kicks off lobster season with a lobster boil on Aug. 11 at the Roof at The Waterfront Brewery.

The following day, enjoy a free Lobsterfest pool party at the Havana Cabana Resort, followed that evening by a Lobsterfest Duval Pub Crawl that begins right after Key West’s famous sunset and continues until midnight. More than a dozen bars are set to take part. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Key West High School’s Scholarship Fund.

Lobsterfest continues Aug. 13 with Fresh Lobster on Duval Street. Local bars and restaurants will be serving up everything lobster. There’s also a street fair from noon to 11 p.m. Admission is free and there will be arts, crafts and merchandise for sale as well as a free concert featuring Key West favorites The Killer Dudes and The Durtbags.

After a night of revelry, you’ll want to wrap up the weekend on Aug. 14 with a decadent lobster-filled brunch at First Flight Island Restaurant & Brewery. Reservations are required at this event as well as some of the others, so check the website first.
