Going Gaga

Beloved Singer Back On Tour

by

After a long break due to COVID-19, Lady Gaga is spending the summer on the road.

The singer-songwriter-actress extraordinaire kicked off The Chromatica Ball Summer Stadium Tour July 17 in Düsseldorf, Germany. She’s made her way through Europe, into Canada and arrived in the U.S. in August. Lady Gaga wraps up her tour at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens Sept. 17.

The tour had been planned for the summer of 2020 (we all know how that went) and had been pushed back several times due to the pandemic. Initially there were just six dates scheduled — Paris, London, Boston, Toronto, Chicago and New Jersey/New York. That grew to 18 dates.

The tour promotes her sixth studio album “Chromatica,” released in 2020, which critics have called dancefloor pop. Songs on the album include “Rain on Me,” performed with Ariana Grande; the lead single “Stupid Love,” set to the backdrop of a disco-flavored beat; and “Plastic Doll,” which conveys the objectification of women.
