Ultracon Is Just Around The Corner
Slated for Aug. 27-28 at the Expo Center at the South Florida Fairgrounds, the family friendly event is sure to have something for everyone. If you’ve never been, you’re in for a big surprise, and if you have, then dress up and get going!
Visitors can meet and have their pictures taken with their favorite actors, voice actors and comic artists. Fans await stars like Elise Baughman, who has voiced numerous characters in anime, animation and video games, with her most popular role being Pan in Dragon Ball GT. Also set to appear, Hunky Vic Mignogna — in more than 300 animated series and video games. Comic artist James Mulligan, a contributor to the Disney Universe, characters and theme park attractions, is expected as well.
There will be plenty of other things to see — and buy — like vintage toys for your collection. Adding to the fun are cosplay contests featuring thousands of dollars in prizes for adults, kids and groups.
